Many on our team are well seasoned with 5-30 years under there belt. ZenDecks was established in the spring of 2017 servicing kenora, lake of the woods and remote areas.


Yes, we are fully insured and can provide proof if requested.


We provide a two year warranty that covers workmanship only. We do not cover material defects or damage by environment weather neglect or miss use.


Yes but this is not a free service. Legal, permit, inspection fees are always on your invoice.


Our payment schedule will depend on the amount of time it takes to complete a project and the size of the project. Typically if the project is small and less then a two weeks time we require a down deposit. If the project is a large project and will take some time to complete we set up a bi-weekly pay schedule with the client.


Our first site visit is free. Our planning stage is per hour as needed. This typically includes permits and other various tasks to get your project ready.


Our estimate is not a fixed price. Lots can change a project from rot to materials delays. We do provide an estimate to gain a basic idea of the cost. Talk to your contractor about your budget. A good builder will not try to get every penny but will work with you to meet your needs.


Yes, if your project requires a specific skill or trade we will hire sub contractor.


This depends on the project. Typically our clients create a charge account at one of the local hardware store’s and give my lead hand charge authorization. 


We immediately bring the problem to your attention, discuss and come up with the proper solutions in order to get your project back on track.


Most projects we have a final walk through with the clients. To make sure everything is done to their satisfaction.


We advise you to speak directly with the project manager about any complaints or problem. Once the situation is brought to our attention it will be delt with accordingly.


We take safety seriously. all staff are trained and certified in various certification, licenses and Ontario regulation. if you see a safety hazard or have a concern please let some one know immediately.


We do not charge for tool use but do have a fee for various types of equipment such as trailers and scaffolding . Always best to ask what equipment will be used and make sure it is on your estimate.


No we do not Mark up materials. We do charge time on pickup and delivery of materials.


The start and end dates are suggested dates as a lot can change in a short period of time. weather, supply chain and shipping are just a few things that can effect your start and end date. our schedule is constantly changing.


No, we do not work ”under the table” we do accept cash payment but all applicable Tax/fees will be on invoice. No cash deals.


On rare occasions we do work evenings and weekends, only when necessary to get the project done. We try our best to keep a good work life balance. Best to contact us during business hour’s or just send us an emal.


Some Service we do not offer are Electrical work, advanced plumbing, welding, pipe drilling. we do have sub trades for such project and will always let you know    if your porject requires a subcontractor.


Although we have a large service area mainly lake of the woods, Kenora, minaki, and Reddit area. we do not service south of Nestor falls, east of vermilion bay or west of the Manitoba border. always talk to your tradesmen about travel Time and cost.
